Our Painting Tour in the Alps is starting
Today, we are starting a painting tour in France. The art teacher is Victoria Brooks. You can see her work on her web site at www.vbrooks.com
She is bringing 6 of her students for a wonderful experience here near the Alps. Right now, it is sunny, so hopefully it will stay that way.
There will be some watercolorists and some oil painters since Victoria is experienced in both techniques. They will have the choice of painting landscapes, glaciers, mountains, medieval villages, flowers, etc..
Below is a picture of a painting done by one of our former guests. To see more paintings from previous tours, you can go to www.frenchescapade.com
Some of the coming guests will start posting on this blog as well about their experience on the tour and hopefully I will be able to display some pictures of their paintings or of them painting.
Stay tuned!!

My name is Jackie Grandchamps. In 2003, I founded French Escapade, offering another way to travel in small groups of 8. "Don't be a tourist, be our guest" is the moto and spirit of my company.
Check www.frenchescapade.com
Through this blog, I will provide information about France, Belgium, California, (soon Italy) but also some stories from my guests on the tours.
Learn more about the company in the French Escapade section of this blog.

Hi Jackie, Valerie, Victoria and all,
Victoria you left just in time, it is suppose to be 100 degrees here tomorrow!
Jackie, I love that you are having your guests write on your blog, great idea. I will have my laptop with me and be bloggiing my way through the Cinque Terre in Italy prior to arriving in Lyon, so you can follow along on my blog too. Then I was planning to have the students upload any photos or paintings they wanted on my blog, but now they can do it on yours too. I love all this communicating stuff!
Your blog is great, and so are the receipies!
Sandy
